Opportunity Description:

The RCA is looking for volunteers ages 16 – 20 to assist with Summer Arts Blast Camps! As a volunteer, you will get to collaborate in a fun environment to help our Arts Blast team deliver quality programming in visual art, dance, music, and theatre to youth ages 5 – 12. As a volunteer, you can expect to: Assist instructors in delivering art lessons – this will involve working with hands-on projects with kids, helping with group work, and serving as a positive role model- Give focused attention to campers who need extra assistance – Help during transitions between classes and take campers on bathroom breaks – Maintain positive relationships with all campers, parents, and RCA staff. This is a great opportunity to: Gain experience working with children – Learn about arts programming – Develop interpersonal skills – Serve as a role model – Fulfill volunteering requirements for school.
