<div>What we do:</div>
<div>We maintain a collection of thousands of artifacts and archival documents at the museum, which require curation, care, and cataloguing to keep the collection up to date and accessible to the public. Additionally, we maintain museum displays highlighting the history of Westbank/West Kelowna. We also host small-scale art workshops in the community, as well as community events in and out of the museum, including the Haunted House at the Museum in late October, and the Westside Multiculturalism Day on the last Saturday of June. We are also involved in external community events, such as the Community Light Up in early December, and Westside Daze in July.</div>

<div>We are also the West Kelowna Visitor Centre.</div>

The YMCA is a charity that ignites the potential in people, helping them grow, lead, and give back to their communities.
There is potential inside all of us. But obstacles can get in the way: fear, doubt, a lack of finances, isolation, discrimination. The Y believes that everyone has the skills and ability to achieve. That every obstacle can be met with support, positivity, and guidance. That every single person is worthy of the opportunity to shine. And when each of us shines, the collective strength of an entire community can be realized.
Our goal is not to fix people's challenges. Instead, we provide responsive programs and supports to help them tap into their full potential.
