Across the Lake Swim

Canada’s largest and longest running open water swim. In 2024, the ATLS is being held on Sat, Jul 20 and has added a shorter swim (1.4k) to go with the main Swim (2.1k). Any profits from the Swim go to funding the Drownproofing 101 (aka all grade 3 kids in SD23 receive free swim lessons). We look for volunteers mostly for the Finish Line area at City Park’s Hot Sands Beach (at concession building) to assist swimmers in leaving the water, removing their race chips, and checking their gear. There will be a signup link for volunteers for all of the ATLS group of swims held in July & August on the website soon.
