HOURS: Flexible JOB STATEMENT: The Communications/Venue Coordinator will perform all of the tasks and duties needed to maintain communications between the artists and venue contacts and the Artscape committee members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1) Responsible for communication with selected artists and venues 2) Knowledge of Artscape programs and policies (training and information provided) 3) Maintain update information of venues/businesses 4) Maintain updated maps of layouts (provided) 5) Assist artists with hanging when needed 6) Ensure supplies are purchased and receipts reimbursed JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • Minimum High School education • Good interpersonal communication • Willingness to learn • Proper use of phone, e-mail, as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. • Knowledge of hanging or displaying art • Post secondary education and previous experience an asset but not necessary as training is provided.
