Opportunity Description:

We are looking for volunteers to contact existing Heart Month Campaign volunteers to confirm their help this February 2015 for our door to door campaign. This annual campaign is a core Heart and Stroke Fundraiser, particularly in the Okanagan and Kootenay regions. Your involvement will assist the foundation in creating more survivors as the money raised goes directly towards prevention of, protection from and recovery promotion for heart disease and stroke. Together we will make it happen. Skills required would include excellent verbal communication, good organization and record keeping skills. The duration for this volunteer position will last into October with varying hours between weekdays, evenings and possibly weekend (flexibility depending on your schedule). This opportunity is located at our Kelowna area office with flexibility to make calls from home.
