Celebrate the magic of the Spring Lantern Festival 2026 with OCCA Communities Association! Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with authentic traditional Chinese cuisine and vibrant multicultural performances. Doors open at 3:30PM.

This year’s festival offers one of Kelowna’s most unique family night-out experiences, featuring hands-on cultural activities, a dedicated children’s zone, craft workshops, and a special try-on photo area where families can explore traditional attire from different cultures. The event also highlights an expanded multicultural program with performances and showcases from communities across the region.

For food lovers, this year introduces authentic Chinese New Year dishes that are rarely available in Kelowna, including a full three-course festival meal for just $29. The $85 ticket provides the complete culinary experience plus extended cultural activities, additional tasting options, and a meaningful contribution to community programming—including a $50 tax receipt.

With upgraded venue space at the Kelowna Events Centre, enhanced accessibility, and more interactive zones, the festival is designed as an all-in-one evening where families can enjoy dinner, explore cultural experiences, and celebrate together in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Early Bird Ticket Information:
Early Bird add-on tickets are now available. Each Early Bird ticket allows guests to receive one on-site cooked traditional Lunar New Year dish prepared fresh at the venue. Early Bird Sale Dates: Dec. 1–Jan. 31, 2025

Standard Ticket: For the low price of $29 you will receive a 3 course authentic Traditional Chinese meal with your entrance ticket.

High Value Ticket: For $85, not only will you receive a 3 course authentic Traditional Chinese meal with your entrance ticket but you will also receive a $50 donation tax receipt and activity ticket bundle valued at over $15 which can be used for event games or snacks.

Child Ticket: Kids under 12 can receive a 3 course authentic Traditional Chinese meal with your entrance ticket.

Kids under 5 can enter for free.
