Call for patient input for important research on improving access to IBD care.

If you live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and are over 18 years old, we are interested in hearing from you!

As part of the Promoting Access and Care through Centres of Excellence (PACE) initiative, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada will be conducting a series of 90-minute virtual focus groups with Canadians across the country, giving you the opportunity to share your opinions and experiences related to your IBD care. The focus groups will be scheduled during August and September. All focus group participants will receive a cash honorarium for participating.

If you are interested in participating in the focus group, please register here: https://crohnsandcolitis.ca/News-Events/Events/events/Virtual-Focus-Group.

Please share this invitation with anyone you think may be eligible and interested in participating.

If you have any questions, please contact Katy Devitt at kdevitt@crohnsandcolitis.ca.
Sincerely,
Katy Devitt

I interviewed my dad on video in his final weeks. When I asked about his work and finding meaning through helping others, he responded, “I don’t think you can be focused on, ‘Oh gee, I want to make a difference.’ It has to be spontaneous. If it’s not…there’s some kind of egotistical thing going on. That’s a red flag. You hope you impact people on the deepest level you are capable of at the time. Sometimes you hit it, sometimes you don’t. You’re trying.
